Paul J. Trageser Council, 10910 - Chapel Hill, NC

This is an all new web site to celebrate our Double-Star Council designation three years in a row.  One year we even made it to Triple Star.  Designation as a Star Council is the Supreme Council's recognition of excellence in a Knights of Columbus Council.  Our new Grand Knight, Jim Boyd, expresses his appreciation and thanks for your trust and confidence in him.  He also wants to thank the two immediate Past Grand Knights, William Jackson and Gil Montoya, for their leadership.  It takes a lot to build a successful council.  It takes each and every Knight in Chapel Hill.  For that, we thank you all.  And, we thank your families, too.

We are about family.  We are a group of local Catholic men who put family and service to our community first. This is a rarity in this fast-paced world, but we know that our family and church community are the most important things to us.

Speaking about building family, how about a family event this month for yiour kids ages 10 to 14?  We have our annual Free Throw Competition on January 16th.  Learn more.

We work hard to help build church.  We also work hard at helping the less fortunate in our town.  Amidst all the wealth and education of Chapel Hill, there are those who need help.  We do this by working with the Interfaith Council, the ARC, local schools and churches, mentally and physically handicapped, and the Special Olympics.  Helping our community is a basic stewardship of the Catholic church.  He said, "...feed my lambs.".

Now, the rest of the story.  See a video of council activities and learn more about why we are Knights and why you should join our Council.
Charity

Charity, caring about others, and providing a helping hand.  We know that we are blessed with abundance.  It is our turn to help others.

Our councils news site is our Blog

We have a lot of important things to pass along to our members and community.  Our web site tells you about what we are.  Visit our blog to get today's news.
