Inspiration

Being a Catholic is very special to the men and women of our church.  Our daily lives are filled with love, hope, and, above all, charity.  We build our community through good works and sharing.  Catholics have been there to help others during times of famine, oppression, and hunger.  Sometimes they, as in our Irish Catholics, suffered all this and more. Yet, for over 2,000 years they did not lose their faith. Nor did they forget His request, "Feed my lambs."

Sometimes some of our faithful drifted away. Sometimes they moved on to other faiths or lost faith in themselves and their beliefs.  There is no easy answer to why this choice is made by some.  We pray for them and their families, because they are part of our family and we look forward to welcoming them home.

This short video is inspiring and tackles the question, "(Am I) Where God Wants Me to Be?"

Many have returned to His table.  Today, in North Carolina, our church is strong and is welcoming returning members.  We are also welcoming non-Catholics--people of all races and denominations. People who now find strength through the St. Thomas More Catholic Community.  I would like to think it is because of what they see in their Catholic neighbors and Knights.

All Catholics have one special time in common.  It is our daily time for reflection, prayer, and offerings of thanksgiving to Our Lord.  Take a few moments now to reflect on your life and what you are doing to further His love by building family and helping others who can not help themselves.

You are welcome to view a few select videos of inspiration.  Join others who love and serve the Lord, as they share their lives with you.  Just click on a topic, then sit back and enjoy an inspiring video.
