Who are the Knights of Columbus? The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service
organization with 1.6 million members. It provides members and their families
with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their
communities, families and young people.
Membership Benefits
As a member of the Knights of Columbus you and your family enjoy many benefits,
including 12 free issues annually of the Columbia magazine, the world's
largest Catholic family magazine, eligibility to join the Knights of Columbus
top-ranked life insurance program, and many more family and personal benefits.
The St. Thomas More Knights focus on family and
service to our priests. It is our mission to build church through service to our
community. Charity is our watchword.
Joining our council will put you in service to our
Lord. Our members serve on church councils and committees, as Eucharistic
ministers, care for the sick and confined, and support our church in any way
possible. We do it to give back to our community some of the time, talent and
treasure we have received.
How Can I Join?
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in
union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is
one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church.
Application blanks, pamphlets, and other items are available from any member of
the Knights of Columbus or in the Narthex.
Interested? No need to wait for a form, just catch a greeter before or after any mass. Odds are he is a Knight. If he is not, he will
point you to one of us. The next step is for us to spend a little time with you
to discuss the knights, our history, purpose and goals. If you opt to join our
council, we will accept your application and assist you in your quest for
knighthood.
